Spanish Golden Visa Progarmme was launched in 2013. The programme requires the investor to purchase a real estate property for a minimum of 500,000 EUR. Residency Permit is given with 3-5 months. The Spanish Residence Permit gained through the Golden Visa allows freedom of travel throughout the EU Schengen zone.

The investors can acquire permanent residence after 5 years if he or she can prove residence in Spain of more than 183 days per year, and citizenship after 10 years.
